Requirements

VCD-db runs on both Unix and Windows platforms.

Apache, IIS or Zeus webserver
  VCD-db has been tested successfully on the following environments:

• Apache 1.3x/2.x on Unix/Linux/Solaris
• Apache 1.3x/2.x on WinXP/Win2000/2003
• IIS 5/IIS 6 on XP/Win2000/2003
• Zeus webserver on WinXP

PHP5 !!
Important!
VCD-db is programmed from scratch with the new possibilites that came available in PHP5 in mind,
therefore it is essential to have PHP version 5.0 or newer. VCD-db will not work on PHP versions below.
To use the full possibilites of VCD-db be sure to have the GD libraries loaded with your PHP installation.

MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, Oracle or SQLite
  VCD-db has been thoroughly tested on following DB platforms:

• MySQL 3.x/4.x/5.x on Windows/Linux boxes
• MSSQL 2000 on Windows and on Linux using Freetds
• Postgre SQL 7.4 and up on Windows/Linux boxes
• IBM DB2 7.2 and 8.1 on WinNT
• Oracle 8,9 or 10G
• SQLite on Windows/Linux boxes
