Fresh install works on Internet Explorer, but not firefox!

Postby jaanus » Fri Oct 03, 2008 12:17 am

I installed a fresh copy of the latest version here.
When i surf into the site with IE browser everything looks fine with the graphics, but if i use Firefox (the latest) and surf into the site, the graphics is all gone and the site looks messed up. Anyone know why this is a problem?

Mine was a fresh install also, but works fine in IE and Firefox. Try selecting a different template, might be template related.

I have tried _ALL_ templates that comes with the release and i have set all the right permissions on all files.
What I have noticed is that my linux box is on the same subnet as mine via dhcp. And when i surf from the same subnet to the site with firefox it is messed up. But if i use another ip different from the subnet the server is on, the site shows as it should in firefox... This is strange

Could you give me access to it so I could see what's going on?

Got it working now. The problem was that when i surf into the site with an ip adress ie http://11.11.11.11 then in firefox it is messed up. But now i have connected a domain to it mongos.org. If i surf into the site with the domain ie http://film.mongos.org everything works fine in firefox.. But still strange that i cannot get it to work with ie http://11.11.11.11 to surf into the site without messup.
